I probably would add it to my download list if GwG or IGC offer it but considering the number of games I have that I want to play, as well as the busy months ahead of new games I am hoping to add to my collection, I can't see this competing for my time. However, at the time, that was the way all games were - unless you count the pure text based games but that's not really what I look for in games today. Once you've played the first few missions, you know pretty much what he last few missions will offer - maybe not 'exactly' but principally you can - just like level 50 in Pac-Man, Asteroids or Space Invaders.ĭon't get me wrong, I grew up loving games like those. Not games that you can virtually predict the entire game. I know you could say that games like Uncharted, CoD etc don't really change with each new mission, don't always get more difficult either but they have story and context with characters that I want to see what happens next. As much as I enjoyed games like the Trials games, I only ever end up playing them for a few hours until the novelty of what they offer gets boring, combine with the increase in difficulty knowing that even if you do persevere with that 'same' mechanic to get past that level, the next is literally just more of the same - its just space invaders, asteroids, pac-man - I know its different mechanically but the principal is the same - get passed the level to do virtually the same again with a difficulty increase. The test for me always comes down to would I rather play the numerous games I have not finished or spend some money on a game I know I probably won't play for more than an hour at most. Wed 2nd Aug To be honest, the concept is interesting and the art-style is too but its not something I would buy - even if its just a £1 or 2.
